What are the Cnesco conferences?

Consensus conferences (CC) and international comparison conferences (ICC) are at the heart of Cnesco’s method. They share a common objective: to drive change in the education system, based on the dual imperative of engaging all stakeholders in the educational community and of fostering the uptake of research findings.

  • Focused on the French context
  • Findings from analyses and evaluations of policies and practices applied in France
  • Scientific resources produced by French-speaking researchers
  • A jury of members from the educational community meets in closed session to exchange views and produce recommendations
  • A cross-cutting / international theme
  • Findings from analyses and evaluations of policies and practices conducted in other countries
  • Resources from international researchers
  • Workshops bringing together participants from the educational community to develop recommendations

How to take part in the Cnesco conferences?

Cnesco’s consensus conferences and international comparison conferences are free and open to all. Registration takes place exclusively via an online form, published each year from September on the Cnesco website and its social media channels.

You may choose to attend the public sessions:

  • in person, at a venue that will be announced when registration opens;
  • remotely, via a live stream of the presentations.

Replays of the Cnesco conferences are subsequently made available on the Cnesco’s YouTube channel.
